What God has in store for you

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
1 John 4:10

What God has in store for you
God wants to talk to you. Although He lives in heaven, He seeks contact with you. He has written many things for you in the Bible. Take this book and start reading it. Then you will learn that the Son of God lived on earth as the man, Jesus Christ. Through His words and deeds, He communicated that God loves us all, including you.
God wants to cleanse you. Through your transgressions you have made yourself dirty – not outwardly, but inwardly in your heart. However, God has a something to cleanse you from that. Jesus Christ died on the cross so that your sins could be forgiven. If you believe that His death was also necessary for you, you can be assured that the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses you from all sin (1 John 1:7).
God wants to give you eternal life. If you accept this wonderful gift in faith, you will live eternally in a happy relationship with Him. “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
God wants to be your Father. Through faith in Jesus Christ, you become a child of God who can enjoy His love without limitation. “But as many as received Him (Jesus), to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12).

Today’s reading: 1 Samuel 2:27-36 · Ephesians 4:25-32
